Frequently asked questions

Is Escape from Tarkov down right now?
Escape from Tarkov appears to be UP. We counted 19,883 concurrent players, which is 93% of the 21,461 we normally see at this hour of the week. The reading was taken 2 minutes ago.
How do you detect outages?
We do not have access to any official status feed. We poll the platform every 15 minutes, store every reading, and compare the current count against the median for that same hour of the same weekday over the previous weeks. A count below 35% of normal for two consecutive readings is reported as an outage; below 60% for three consecutive readings is reported as degraded. This is statistical inference, not an official status page, and it can be wrong — a scheduled maintenance window and a real outage look identical from the outside.
Where can I check the official Escape from Tarkov server status?
Valve does not publish an official per-game status page. The closest official sources are the game's own announcements on its Steam store page and the developer's support or social accounts. For Steam-wide problems, steamstat.us is a widely used community tracker.
